Manolo Campos and Nikki Sheridan are the two co-Directors of AYA Madrid and are eager to teach, advise, and show the students the colorful Spanish culture in the beautiful city of Madrid.
Manolo was born and raised in Sevilla, Spain where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Audio-visual Communication and Marketing at the Universidad de Sevilla. After his studies, Manolo spent a few years working and traveling between the United States and Spain. Over the years, his experience working for international programs has allowed him to be a positive influence for students studying abroad.
Nikki was born and raised in Boston and graduated from Bridgewater State University with a
Bachelor´s degree in Corporate Communications and Spanish. While at university, she studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain and fell in love with the Spanish culture. Nikki returned after her studies to work as an English teacher and to become the co-Director of AYA in Madrid.
While Manolo is Spanish and Nikki is American, they form a great team for the Madrid AYA program. With Manolo´s cultural background, Nikki´s experience studying abroad overseas, and their love for Spain, they will be able to guide the AYA students during their adventure in Madrid. Manolo and Nikki help all of our students with housing, orientation, and cultural activities throughout the semester. They hope that AYA students come to regard them as their teachers, advisers, and friends, and their most important link to the city and the universities during their period of study in Madrid.
